“ Stopped in late afternoon for take-out. Only 2 patrons in the dining room. Ordered 2 gyros platters - 1 with fries, 1 with rice. Portions were a good size. Meat was tender and juicy. Sauce tasted homemade and fresh. Fries were not greasy and did not have an after-taste from being fried in the same oil as other foods. Not thrilled about being charged a 3% fee for using a credit card, but to be fair, it is posted. ”

“ My travels took me to Chicago Midway. This is the one off restaurants that make Chicago food so good! They do allow indoor dining. I ordered the Italian beef and my girlfriend got the gyro. The Italian beef was extremely tasty and is moist with dipping sauce already applied! The gyro meat was very favorable and not dried out one bit. The pita was perfect with a golden brown roast. Both were 5/5 in flavor! I'd give AV a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the wait. We waited over 30min for our food. Do not come here if you are on a short time situation, or call in your order ahead of time! If you have the time they are definitely worth checking out... I know I'll be back! ”
